I have been asked several times to create a shopping list for the beginner juicer. So, here is my shot at getting you started.
I shop for the following items at Sprouts:
1 lbs of Gogi Berries will last 3 to 4 weeks
1 lbs of Golden Flax Seeds will last 4 to 5 weeks
1 lbs of Hemp Seeds will last 4 to 5 weeks
1/2 lbs Chia Seeds will last 3 to 4 weeks
1 lbs of Cashews will last approximately 2 week.( I mix my own nuts for a healthy snack so go through nuts pretty quick, I buy 2 lbs at a time)
1 lbs of Almonds
1 lbs of Walnuts
The following I shop for at Farmers Market, Sprouts, Trader Joes and Whole Foods.
1 bunch fresh Spinach (no bags)
1 bunch of Swiss Chard
1 bag of Gala Apples
1 small Watermelon
1 small Cantaloupe
Pineapple (frozen is fine)
Bananas (tip: ziploc bags make them last longer)
All of these thing will get you started with the Cali Juice Club regiment. Remember, If
you don’t have the same leafy green I use you can replace it with another.
